Can you can?

 I made applesauce this week and canned it by myself, for the first time! It was so fun and rewarding. My wonderful cousin Megan gave me a load of fresh apples, along with her strainer, jars, canning equipment, and a link to a fabulous DIY canning website. 


And then I just did it. It was actually pretty easy! But it just made a huge mess.

Yes...I totally made a makeshift tripod and set a timer to get this picture. Don't judge...I really wanted to savor this experience!
